Terms of Use and Seller Agreement
These terms explain how PacificDeCars supports private sellers and dealerships, how fees are handled, and what each party is responsible for during the sales process.
1. Scope of service
PacificDeCars helps promote vehicles, manage inquiries, improve listing visibility, and support communication with prospective buyers. PacificDeCars does not guarantee an immediate sale, but works to attract serious buyer interest through structured marketing and lead handling.
2. Seller information
By submitting a vehicle, you confirm that the information you provide, including vehicle details, VIN, ownership status, asking price, and contact information, is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
3. Pricing and payment
For vehicles listed above $15,000 CAD, PacificDeCars charges a 3% success fee. For vehicles listed at $15,000 CAD or below, PacificDeCars charges a flat $399 fee. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, sellers only pay after PacificDeCars successfully helps facilitate the sale of the vehicle.
4. Lead handling
PacificDeCars may filter inquiries, screen leads, and manage communications to reduce spam, scams, lowball offers, and unnecessary calls. Final sale decisions remain the responsibility of the seller.
5. No guarantee of outcome
Market conditions, pricing, vehicle condition, and buyer demand all affect sales outcomes. PacificDeCars does not guarantee a specific sale timeline or final sale price.
6. Content and media rights
By submitting photos and listing details, you grant PacificDeCars permission to use that content for listing promotion, advertising, and marketplace distribution related to your vehicle sale.
7. Liability limitation
PacificDeCars is not responsible for inaccurate information supplied by the seller, independent negotiations outside the platform, buyer conduct after introduction, or losses arising from undisclosed vehicle issues.
8. Privacy and contact
